Mathematics SL Third edition Haese Mathematics for the international student Third Edition By Robert Haese,Sandra Haese, Michael Haese, Marjut Maenpaa, Mark Humphries

Mathematics for the International Student: Mathematics SL has been written to embrace the syllabus for the two-year Mathematics SL Course, first examined in 2014.

In this third edition, chapters are arranged to follow the same order as the chapters in our Mathematics HL (Core) third edition, making it easier for teachers who have combined classes of SL and HL students. Syllabus references are given at the beginning of each chapter. The new edition reflects the new Mathematics SL syllabus.

More lower level questions have been added at the start of the exercises, to make them more suitable for a range of ability levels. Discussion topics for the Theory of Knowledge have been included in this edition.

In response to the introduction of a calculator-free examination paper, a large number of questions have been added and categorised as ‘calculator’ or ‘non-calculator’. In particular, the final chapter contains over 160 examination-style questions to help students prepare for examinations.

Mathematics: Analysis and Approaches SL 6th Edition by: Bill Blyth, Gyorgyi Bruder, Fabio Cirrito, Millicent Henry, Benedict Hung, Rory Mcauliffe, James Sanders, 3,500.00 2,750.00

Mathematics: Analysis and Approaches SL 6th Edition By Bill Blyth, Gyorgyi Bruder. Fabio Cirrito, Millicent Henry, Benedict Hung, William Larson, Rory McAuliffe, James Sanders

IBID Press has decided to service the new mathematics courses with five books. This will, we hope, help schools with effective timetabling by allowing multiple courses to be taught in parallel.  This series of texts has been written for the IB Courses Mathematics: Analysis and Approaches and Mathematics: Applications and Interpretations that start teaching in August 2019.

    • The new syllabus has been constructed to facilitate this by providing a common core of topics that must be taught to all mathematics students. This material has been collected into the IBID Common Core text. This book also contains a chapter on the new ‘Toolbox’ requirements of the courses.
    • Analysis & Approaches SL covers the non-core topics appropriate for SL students of this course.
    • Analysis & Approaches HL covers the non-core topics appropriate for HL students of this course.
    • Applications & Interpretation SL covers the non-core topics appropriate for SL students of this course.
    • Applications & Interpretation HL covers the non-core topics appropriate for HL students of this course

Each book contains supplementary electronic material. These may be linked using QR codes or free downloads from the website.

All the above text books can be purchased separately or as discounted bundles. Digital versions will also be available for sale on a case-by-case approved school basis.
